The Bill (Reg. No. 3008) defines organizational and legal principles of identification and registration of agricultural animals in order to control epizootic situation in Ukraine and secure safety of livestock production for public consumption.
Elaboration of the Bill is caused by the necessity to coordinate normative and legal base of Ukraine with the EU legislation in the part of legislative acts that oblige animal owners to perform identification and registration of animals.
The People´s Deputies believe that implementation of the Bill should promote control over animals´ health conditions, veterinary and sanitary conditions of farms, etc.
